I have had this tent twice, the first was my very favorite tent because of all the great and many years of experiences I had with it compared to the many other tents I've owned but my nephew absconded off with it so I had to buy a second one; which is now with the ex.
I'm way more of an ultralight hiker and mountain runner so I use this tent as a base camp/car glamping with girlfriend. I find it perfect for a full size air mattress, a beach chair and bags inside. Vestibles are big enough but they could be bigger, height is good enough to change clothes, haven't had issues with condensation, good ventilation (I do always use a couple of stakes for the fly to keep air flow), tent poles have lasted with none broken so far, zips work well enough and easy to get in and out of tent, privacy is good on two sides, good star viewing on the other sides, tent is very easy and very quick to assemble. This tent will keep you dry in downpours and when staked out properly it will handle strong winds. I like the center loop to hang a light. Whats not to like when consider it's only $120 and gets the job done as well as many other tents three times the price when car camping. Don't fool yourself that this is a lightweight tent to take on a 20 mile hike or for 4 people even for an orgy, it's not and it's not meant for that but for an inexpensive base camp with elbow room for two people or one person, it's excellent. I can't complain.
For another really good option at around the same price and very close to this one in design but ever so slightly bigger and better guy line points, check out the ALPS Mountaineering Lynx 4-Person Tent. I now have this one because I couldn't find the Genessee at a low price, zero complaints. Also the ALPS Mountaineering Taurus 4-Person Tent identical as above with less mesh on side walls, so less venting but better warmth and protection from elements, just looked; on sale for $91 prime shipped on amazon, crazy cheap for a large 3 season base tent for two-three people .
