Other than the fact that this one is slightly heavier, how does it compare/contrast to the Marmot Limelight? On a budget and I don't see much of a difference at all, but I'm not an expert.

BurlyI don't have the EVO, but I do have the regular Morrison, and we are very happy with it. My son uses it every month for Boy Scouts. It is a great tent that nails the value proposition of great tent for the money. A little too heavy for serious backpacking, but that is the only downside for us. Everything is color coded which makes set up a breeze, which was critical for me, having a 6th grader that has to set up their own tent without assistance.
The MD price is not all that amazing once you factor in the $10 S&H. Amazon is regularly $150 to $160, although they were as low as $120 in October.

BurlyI was just thinking about that same question. I have the Marmot, and like it a lot, but if I were buying a 2p tent right now if be happy gaining a couplr extra ounces to save $75-100. They really do look almost identical in terms of features.

JimboJonesI also looked at the 3p REI Co-op Passage 3p. We have the 2 p and it's great. 25 percent off right now and even lighter than the limelight. So if price is priority#1, the Mountainsmith looks best, but I think the Passage may be best value.
