Has anyone had any issues with their unit. After a few minutes of use the motors on mine cutoff, like it is going into sleep mode. I upgraded the firmware and it is still doing it. Did I get a defective one?
MozagimbalHello, I just purchased the Moza Air 2 and am having a problem similar to what is described in this thread. I properly balanced with my Nikon z6 and 85mm 1.8 z mount lens on the gimbal. I calibrated and everything checked out correctly. I then turn it on and it seems to be working. I can tilt forward OK for a few seconds and then if I move from side to side, even extremely slowly, it will suddenly start turning in all directions and sometimes freeze. Sometimes the screen will say "sleep mode".
This is very frustrating. I have gone through the whole process many times.. balancing, self calibrating, checking the balance again, etc. Each time the gimbal seems to work for a couple seconds and then it fails and starts turning in all directions on it's own.
Please advise as soon as possible. This is extremely frustrating.
plazMozagimbal, KGB377 did you solve this problem. Same problem with mine, just bought it brand new. If I lock all axis' and pan with the Moza held vertically, I can pan 360 deg in both directions and all is good. But if I tilt the whole gimbal down about 45 deg and then pan it switches off the pan motor. I'm wondering if this is a sensor to stop the camera crashing from crashing into the pan arm? It seems to come into effect when you tilt the whole gimbal down about 30 deg.
thompsonrhDid you guys resolve this? I just bought mine last week, and I had the same issue. Found out it was because the roll arm was locked. There is a switch to lock that arm to balance the gimbal easier, if it's locked the gimbal will go into sleep mode. I hope by now you were able to figure it out, but just in case anyone else has a similar issue.
kgb377same problem here, mine would not finish the update and brings an error f3ff with motors in sleep mode on a normal start up any one with clues please?
