minijedimasterIt bothers me how many people are satisfied paying the Nvidia tax. I won't buy Nvidia again because of the GSync, it costs me not only a boatload for a new graphics card, you want me to buy a $600 monitor just to take advantage of it? No thanks.

KushielAOCIt bothers me how many people buy substandard GPU's just to save a few bucks. I won't buy AMD until they provide a competitive card in the market that isn't a room heater.
It also bothers me that Massdrop refuses to try and find any deals on GSync monitors when more than half the GPU market is Nvidia. Literally leaving money on the table. No one who currently owns an Nvidia GPU is going to go out and buy a different GPU just for a slightly cheaper monitor and then get worse game performance on top of it.

minijedimasterNo offense, but I'm not going to spend an extra thousand dollars to get 3 more FPS than the other guy. Maybe if I were a professional gamer I may care but then I'd have the resources to blow 4 grand on a new rig. I'm currently in the boat where I upgrade about once every 5 years, which means I'm always going to be behind the 8 ball and I can care less if the card is a room heater as I've ran water piping into my GPU's and while I'm still running a AMD 6950 it's still able to play all new games albeit not at max res but I don't have the chance to be snotty about things like that.
Honestly, though, even if I won the lottery I don't see how I would support a company that puts a minimum $200 premium for a piece of software another company essentially gives for free. I cannot deny they are not better, but their company practices are toxic and I don't want any part of it.

KushielAOCThose are nice highly exaggerated numbers you cooked up there to justify your point thus invalidating your entire post. TY moving on.

minijedimasterLet's just say i would be okay with only two monitors, that's a thousand right there for 24" QHD, a 1080, $800, case, i5, hard drives, misc another $800. So I'm off by a bit, but I currently have three 27" so if i replaced all three monitors, i would be pretty close.
That said, to each their own.

minijedimasterits not amd only, you its still a solid 144hz monitor that works fine with any gpu
you do realize its nvidia that puts a premium on their g sync and not the other way around

General_WinterThe sync tech on these are amd only. And yes I realize, thanks? Not sure why you're explaining the obvious.
