MrBigEven stranger in this case, since I'm fairly sure MSI only makes Nvidia cards.

Cyphreno. you're thinking of EVGA. EVGA = Only NV Sapphire = Only AMD XFX = Only AMD Powercolor = Only AMD (i think) The rest make cards for both manfs. I'm sure NV has a second one too, but its not coming to me. (think its PNY) AMD & NV AIB makers: Gigabyte. MSI and ...other ones not coming to mind., Sorry my knowledge extends more towards AMD cards as I've done more research on them than NV(because I used to be an NV fan till did my research on AMD, now Im an AMD fan)
CyphreMSI has alot of AMD graphics cards. https://www.msi.com/Graphics-cards/

HyeVltg3MSI, Asus and Gigabyte make both sets of cards, but they sell a lot more nVidia so those are most of what you see at Microcenter and such. And for the love of God, if you are spending less than $150, buy AMD and only AMD.

HyeVltg3lol to add to that list, I believe PNY does only do Nvidia, and Asus also does AMD and Nvidia cards. Those, plus the companies you listed, are(to my knowledge) all the major and/or mainstream graphics card brands

Arker_1Mainstream isnt the correct word. you mean North American. in the UK and other places they have their own "mainstream" brands. I know most brands are owned by the same (MSI, Asus,Giga) with different names. but "mainstream" when talking about NA cards is a bit....ya sorry for being that poster that corrects everything...I'm going to bed now.

HyeVltg3By mainstream I mainly meant international "mega-conglomerates", which own the smaller actual brand names. Like you said, companies like Gigabyte, Asus and MSI own other companies around the world that are more familiar to people, but at the end of the day it's still Asus, or MSI, or Gigabyte(or one of the other conglomerates) that's making the money. And I did say "major and/or mainstream"...
