What a waste to have AMD Freesync on a monitor like this. When AMD holds less than 16% of the GPU market it seems like a total waste to make products specific to their hardware. The monitor would be better and cheaper without it. Oh well, still might be worth it if it actually reaches 279, I'll keep my eye on it.

PramienjagerMSI has to PAY for G-Sync. G-Sync is licensed, FreeSync is not. This is the reason BenQ now no longer makes G-Sync monitors.

finn.staceyYeah, I understand Gsync is way more expensive to implement (and really isn't better). That is why I said they should just leave it out. Even though the licensing for Freesync is "free" it still cost R&D money and manufacturing money to implement it.
