Rapt Well I don't want to be responsible for cutting into massdrops profits or be banned from their site (love you massdrop), but I also look after my PC enthusiast brethren. So the answer is maybe. If you enjoy tinkering and building things and troubleshooting, then yes. But if you just want to buy a computer that works a prebuilt might just be for you. If we're talking specifically about performance per dollar, my link is better, but for some its not worth the time and energy you have to put into it. Its all based on you my friend (: plus I think mine looks better. I have a thing for black and white PCs.
KedgieThis build checks out, i second this. Also if someone is afraid of putting together their system on their own, they can simply print this part list out and take it to an electronics store like Frys or Microcenter and have it put together for a small extra.
