I am a bit confused about the storage size, can anyone help clarify?
Does it only have 256gb HDD and no ssd? Since almost all MSI laptops have ssd+hdd config.
I have googled and found someone said that before removing the msi case, you have to remove a warranty sticker first.
I think it would be stupid to buy a new laptop with only 256gb storage then void the warranty quickly in order to expand it. Just want to make sure if it really voids the warranty. Or maybe thats why the warranty period is shortened, for earlier expanding storage without worrying the warranty.
Warranty is not void when upgrading memory or storage. This is confirmed through MSI already. However, if there's any wrong with your upgraded parts, you would need to contact the manufacturer of that particular part. MSI will however cover warranty on their product.
