GTX 1080 Ti coming out next month and you want $679.99 for the 1080, no thanks. You can buy the 1080 without the waterblock for $579.99 on Newegg.

D8V1DThe water block is $125 by itself. You save time effort, and a little money doing it this way. Plus the water block is covered under warranty in this case, if something goes wrong here it's covered. The Ti probably will be around $800 if not more. Still seems worth to me.

TungstenphoenixMy point is, it is not worth buying a new card without considering the price of the 1080 Ti and whether Nvidia will further reduce the price of the 1080. Actually might as well wait another 2 months in May to consider what AMD's Vega has to offer. Especially after seeing how well they priced their CPUs vs Intel recently .
