Sanket_cI got 2 GPUs , performs like the 1080 , a monitor with freesync , 24" , 1080p , 144hz , for $700 , while you need to pay $700 just for one card! not to mention taht you'll need to add $200 to a monitor just to get your so very sweet G-Sync technology. Damn , for that price you'd expect them to find your g-spot too.

Skullbunnyits actually more like a $50 premium for a gsync monitor not at all 200 bucks. still bullshit though considering freesync is free.

SkullbunnyIncreasing power consumption and heat. Not to mention instability due to load sharing.

PandaclysmYou're obviously stuck in the internet's anti-AMD bubble , every card consumes more ban 75w from the pcie , every card exceeds, and you should already know that and news releasing updates drivers and released a fix for the power consumption which limits it.
There's more games that'll lean towards AMD now with Vulkan and DX12

SkullbunnyTypical how every AMD fanboy has to say an NVIDIA fanatic is in a "Anti-AMD" bubble, even tho there was no reason to assume he is. Saying you don't like AMD is an opinion, he didn't say he hated their guts.

HallowedFluxI said the INTERNET'S ANTI-AMD Bubble. They always bash at them , they rarely praise them.
Sheesh.

HallowedFluxYou forget to mention that the GTX 1060 will be released soon which is a way better price-performance card than the amd RX480. Also the point of games leaning to AMD though Vulkan and DX12 is invalid, since Nvidia's drivers support both these API's. To end the Nvidia - AMD fanboying, with DX12 GPU's from both companies can work together and share the workload.

SkullbunnyMy bad, I didn't read that one. Still though you seem not to take any note of the Vulkan/DX12 point, to only be able to hate on Nvidia. I have experience with both AMD and Nvidia cards. Amd is a nice budget brand but is a real power hug and it becomes pretty hot. Nvidia is an expensive brand but often use less power, and become less hot.
You get what you pay for, if you want to go for AMD and be fine with it go for AMD, you go for Nvidia then you go for Nvidia. In my opinion Nvidia is just more stable especially if you go with 1 card instead of AMD in Crossfire.

jcoenenI very much agree. NVIDIA is alot more stable , as the GTX 9xx did alot better than R9 3XXs , while the R9 3XXs dropped to 20 - nvidia kept stable at 40+
People , put words in my mouth , I very much appreciate the technology brought by NVIDIA , i think amd learned alot from them and the other way around.
Then again I buy Apple products. *crawls back to the lil cave so to be called room*

DoodruidGsync actually uses hardware though, and objectively, g-sync is better. Whether you can tell... or if you dip above or below the freesync fps range depends on individual set up.
