Absolutely no reason to get a RTX 2080 when the 1080 TI's are just as good and cheaper.

The RTX series is a joke.

TBH, I'm very disappointed with nvidia this time around even though I'm kinda nvidia fanboy. Too much money for too little. Yes, real time tracing is exciting but these videocards are way too slow for any game using such features. Maybe next gen will be better. Not to mention, RTX videocards have a lot of quality control problems, Nvidia was forced to recall 2080 tis (which probably explains why no 2080 tis are offered here)

A nd what do you call the removal of 2080ti from their webstore? In any case, there's clearly something wrong with RTX tech and/or GDDR6 chips used on them, leading to unusually high failure rates. I don't know about you but I'm not going to drop $1k on something that might croak, even if it is a 5% chance (btw, no one really knows the exact rate, only nvidia does and they are not telling). As I said, MD is avoiding this problem too as they listed 4 2080s and not a single 2080 ti.

AnzialThats fine with me that is your opinion. I, myself will not buy a 2080Ti for now due to price and no RTX activity yet. However, you were claiming recall and that is not happening as of yet. MD could have many reasons to pull something from the store but if you actually do you following and research into the 2080Ti you would learn a lot. Please do not go "scaring" people of a recall that does not exist right now as of this writing.
