$900 for only a 1050? This is a no go dudes.. Why are you all even buying this?
Fyi I got the EVGA SC17 deal last time. USD1500 (incld tax) for GTX1070, 4k screen, forgot the rest of the specs.. Got a very sweet mouse & a backpack too..
The big difference in these two models from each other (with the lesser being "minus 130$"... is that the greater model, had the 4GB of Video RAM for the GTX 1050... (Did they mean the GTX 1050 TI?).... and the lesser has 2 GB of video RAM for the GTX 1050... and has an optical drive. Both the greater and lesser model don't have a 128 GB or 256 GB SSD. This may be ok for some folks... some people want the strong graphics but wit an optical drive still, while some won't. Some want the extra video RAM... other's don't.
GameFiendThat does look impressive... not only the 1060 graphics... but 16 GB of RAM. Not a bad deal. Funny, the Acer Predator Helios... looks very MSI-Esque in the way it is built and the material used. Seems to be a nice machine. If people have the 100$ extra... knock themselves out on.... ;-)
SpikeUCFa lot of the gaming laptop comes from a generic manufacturer either Quanta , Clevo and etc. So there is a lot of similarity. It all comes down to QA at the end of the day.
