Looking at PC Part Picker, the price is about right with everything. Not a fan of using a B250 board as it's pretty low end, but what can you do 🤷‍♂️.
*Edit* Since everyone is a little unhappy with my comment, yes you can build a much better PC for $300 or so less. This was simply comparing around the exact parts listed with finding parts that matched. That included the optical drive, WiFi card, Win 10 home (buying it though official channels), and a higher end case. Yes I understand that it's pretty high up there in price but jeesh guys, this is for someone who doesn't want to build their own. I have a custom built Ryzen machine that I love but not everyone wants to custom build one.

ZomNomNomBuild your own pc with a better board. Lol you're on pcpicker I'd say you're halfway there, and I'm pretty sure whatever you'll save during the process can be invested into a better board for the same/less price too.

ZomNomNomhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha No. This is not only $250 less, it has a 1080ti. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YyNTyf Here's the version with a 1080, coming in at $1346.77, a full $400 less. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ndQNCy
You could also do this for less by buying not just MSI parts, and still have as good or better quality.

whomad1215You're missing Windows 10 Home, a DVD drive, M.2 SSD drive, fans (which you'll most likely need some more) and the pre-built warranty. I was matching as much as possible from what the listing was.
Now, I'm not saying you should purchase this considering I would go Ryzen for the processor but for what it is it's not an awful deal.

whomad1215That 1080ti sure is killing ya. Heaven forbid you go for a 1070 and sacrifice 3fps. Anyone can get a pretty solid build for under 1000 if they know what they're doing without much of a sacrifice to make any real difference. But to each their own.

RumifiedAccording to the data specs, the video card is a GTX 1080, not the 1080Ti. Sure, one can get a decent computer for around $1000, but if that's all everyone wanted, there would be no high end computers. At that price there would be sacrifices with the cpu, gpu and/or motherboard. And for any gamers who also do video content creation, that would matter. Yes, to each his own, and it's wonderful that we all can make our own system based on our personal needs or wants. Or, we can buy a good pre-built from MSI and others. :)

ZomNomNomWin10Home costs $35-45 USD from many, many websites, and it's 2017, who tf is still using discs for anything? M.2 SSD is the only real missing part.
