Shit guys, of course its msrp. It literally comes out in 5 days. This isnt about getting a deal on drops like this, its about supporting massdrop for a product thats hard to get through other retailers, as well as not giving more money to the likes of amazon.

ExonauticLmao don't be a baby. Massdrop is for getting discounts on bulk orders, not for us to monetize and keep afloat. If they can't offer us dicounts Massdrop is ineffective.

AlexrawesomeYes they get us discounts on stuff often, but they also Need to get paid and what better way to do that than full msrp on a motherboard that isn't even out for another few days that's a bitch to get. As much as you don't care about anyone's livelihood other than your own, this is still a business and full time jobs for many.

russjkerrto you and everyone above, the point is that it is "available everywhere", but with so many people looking for mid- to high end boards with Ryzen support as of right now, the initial stock will sell out fast. I'm sure thousands of people have already placed preorders on Amazon, and as stated preorders on sites like Newegg and Amazon are not definite guarantees that you will get that item. In this case, I'm assuming MSI approached Massdrop for this, to reach out to more communities looking to get these boards. Also, technically Massdrop's job is just to earn themselves money...it's kinda the point of the business. I understand what you mean, but in actuality you could go and try to arrange receiving directly from the factory line yourself...just they would never say yes to a single person. All Massdrop does is provide basically a poll on the amount of people who want, say, a knife, and to offer estimates from the producer about how much they say.
And also to provide a forum which for some reason spams me updates about Magic: The Gathering championship deck builds, apparently. Seriously, though, it never stops for me!
