This is the first drop I have participated in where the shipping time has been much longer than acceptable. I would have thought MSR would have been prepared for the numbers from Massdrop.

Another brief update. We have checked back in with the vendor regarding the group's order and have been told that they are nearly finished packaging the individual shipments and anticipate everything going out by the end of this week. We will continue to monitor their progress and update the group as soon as all packages have shipped out.

A quick update for you all! We've been in touch with the vendor and they've let us know that they are still working to gather and package the individual orders for shipment directly to each of you. We will continue to check in with them throughout the fulfillment process and update the group again once everything has gone out.

It's a go! The order for the MSR Pocket Rocket was placed just after the drop came to an end. Now our vendor will be working hard to prepare it for shipment to each of you.
As soon as we receive word from the vendor about the shipping schedule, we will update you all with that information.

Specs look exactly the same... I can't speak from experience on either, but saw the alternative while researching the Pocket Rocket and wanted to pass it along.

kattinthehatI have a cheaper version of this stove already. I have also used my friends Pocket Rocket and it feels like it was made better, for whatever that is worth. I am buying this for reliability purposes.

kattinthehatkattinthehat - that isn't the exact same stove, its a Chinese copy. The pocket rocket is made in Korea by Kovea, i own both and the Kovea option is far better quality
