Minimal wallets are everywhere these days. It’s not a wonder why, either: They reduce bulk and consolidate the most important items in a single, easy-to-access location Read More
This may be a dumb question... but if this is meant to be a 'front pocket wallet'... where do people keep their phone and keys? There's a reason the convention is keys and phone in the front pockets and wallet in the back. :/
MistertazIf you are walk through places that attract pickpockets the front pocket is preferable to the back pocket. In my case I latch my keys latch to a belt loop with a military clip and tuck them in the back pocket (nobody wants them anyway, but it helps avoid losing them), and the phone goes in a deep or zippered pocket.
Can anyone who owns this wallet comment on to how it feels in your pocket? I’m concerned about putting a 1cm metal square in my back pocket but I really want this so I am torn. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!
rootduckI've got three, two original and one new. I use the original horizontal one for ID and other cards, and the two vertical ones for spare business cards in my briefcase and overnight bag. They're much smaller than most wallets, so I hardly feel it. They're great for tight jeans.
Great wallet. Nothing to wear out, RFID protected, and beautifully made and finished (I have the silver one). (The stainless springclip will attract a magnet.) I wish they also made one slightly thicker, for up to 12 cards (this tops out at 8).
Mine just arrived recently and I'm a little disappointed. The black side scuffs really easily. And it's not like I keep keys in the same pocket or anything. The only other things in the pocket is a plastic pen and chapstick and already has multiple marks after about a week.
gumballsDo they buff out? I've used my black one day-to-day for years and the only marks on it are dings on the edge that I hadn't realized where there until I looked just now.
MrBeanI have a similar wallet to this, and can confirm. Getting cards out of the middle of these requires pushing out all the other ones and then pushing the ones in front of it out and holding them down so they don't slide out as you pull the one you want out. It can definitely be annoying.
MrBeanIt's enough of a bother that I keep the heavy rotation cards at the front and back, but it's not more annoying for me than fishing cards out of a new leather wallet's slots, but YMMV.
