MTG Random Planeswalker & Rares Lot (10 Cards)

i mean, yeah, you kinda are reiterating, but that's fine - what's also fine is that some folks go into these with the FULL knowledge of that, and that's also fine - if that's what they want. Again, there are THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of cards in MTG's history, and one person can't possibly know about all of them - so to get a mixed pack of 10 Rares/PWs is often times going to net someone interesting cards they didnt even know existed. Again, youre not buying for Value - you're buying for MYSTERY and OPTIONS and PLAYABILITY. And by you, I clearly mean "me", but whatever :P

Hope I'm not reiterating what Caucasian is saying here but these repacks of rares will net you cards that that seller has sitting in a box that no one wants. Granted most of the commons and uncommons from any set are unwanted but opening a masters pack and getting a $2 uncommon that's played in modern and a $30 rare is possible vs the almost guaranteed at best 0.50 cent rares and $3-$5 planeswalkers.

First off, a sealed booster pack from WotC has an EV that is backed by market prices, so you know the average value per pack. Masters boosters, take mm17 for instance, had fetches, lilis, goyfs, snaps etc. You have a quantifiable chance of pulling those card. This is a repackaged product where the cards going in are gauranteed to be less than $10, otherwise they would make no money. WotC does not care about the value of their cards on the secondhand market.... but drops like this do. Also, if you're looking for a specific playable card, you buy the singleton. No one is doing these thinking "I hope i find a rare i can throw in my modern/standard deck" (hopefully...) Lastly. 2 mana 2/2s see play pretty damn often.
