Is it me, or does this seem ridiculously overpriced, considering you're helping someone clean out a dusty warehouse of extra junk? If the dice were metallic, actual metal, not acrylic, and the playmat was a design of something, maybe I could justify this price tag. But to possibly be stuck with an ultra pro mana flip box, and these lower quality Dragon Shield protector sets, its just not there for me.

TeecueIt wouldn't be an Ultra Pro flip box, it's the Satin Tower, which is a super nice deck box. If you assume 20 bucks for the playmat, 10 bucks for the deck box, 20 bucks for the Dragon Shields, it's already a decent deal with the dice thrown in for less than free. The playmats aren't just normal playmats, they are special materials which keeps them from having a design. I think you're being overly critical.

aarone46But here is the thing, you can go to a game store and get a play mat for 10 a deck box for 10 dragon shields for 10 and more dice in whatever color you want for 5. That is so much less and you are guaranteed what you want and you don't have to pay shipping and you get it right away. This is honestly way too much for what you get.

MatzazI hear you, but that 10 dollar playmat (which I've never seen - least I've ever seen is 15) not the same as what you're getting here. It's a higher quality playmat, even if you want to claim that they're equivalent. Where are you getting TWO boxes of Dragonshields for 10 bucks total? Don't try to claim it's a bad deal because you throwing out prices that are half of retail. Yeah, you're playing the luck of the draw in terms of color and what type of box you'll get, but nowhere are you going to get these products for less than this price. Shipping is certainly another matter, but it always is on massdrop.
I do do feel bad that someone is applatently forcing you do buy this though. That's the only explanation for how you're reacting to this.

aarone46I have to agree. My local LGS has fairly decent quality playmats for 10. They have no design. Dragon shields are 10 each. Those deck boxes are right at 10 each except for one of them. The dice can be bought in 7 sets of 7 for like 10 bucks so ill be generous and say 2. Thats 42 bucks right there and I could have selected my own colors for the sleeves and dice so its not a great deal for sure.
