Received this watch today, and it is beautiful, as expected, after owning a Mühle Glashütte SAR RescueTimer for years.
I did NOT expect a $1400 package to be shipped by USPS and left on my unguarded doorstep in view of the street. Seeing this on the mailing label was a shocker. I will not buy another expensive item here unless "Signature Required" shipping is an option. "Leave If No Response" is a BAD idea.
Heck yeah! Snagged
Beautiful watch!

I agree what a beauty
Lovely watch. Too bad it's out of my range this year. I hope it comes back.
Beautiful watch!gjnorth
Hey Massdrop! Let's see a Seebataillon GMT from Mühle Glashütte drop.
Beautiful watch. Nice to see here, but too rich for my blood.
Wow. Hoping for their einzeiger to show up (on a bracelet).

These kind of German watches tend to fall through the distribution cracks in the U.S.
Beautiful watch. Really thinking of joining the drop. Wearing my Muehle Seebataillon GMT today.
Couldn't resist!
Very happy to see a Mühle on Massdrop!
Why do I see vintage Glaschutte marked Made in GDR? Is this the same company that used to make 10 dollar watches for Eastern block working stiffs?

Before the wall came down there was a conglomerate of watchmakers under one heading that made a variety of so-so watches. This family (Mühle) was not a part of that group and only added watches to their line of navigation instruments in the 90's I believe.

During East German times watches from Glashuette were either GUB (Glashuetter Uhren Betriebe - Glasshuette watch factories) or Glashuette (although with cheaper movements). The by then 3rd generation of Muehle founders used to work for Glashuette after his Muehle company was taken over by the government. In the seventies Mr. Muehle founded Muehle again making nautical instruments. It wasn't until the nineties when Muehle made their first wrist watch.
More German watchmakers, please!
A Mühle Glashütte on Massdrop? Great buy for someone with the cash.
Very nice piece, very nice indeed!
