El-KamoteI’ve had a few of the Rush packs. They’re strong, durable and well built. They’re not for hiking and not comfortable when loaded. More of an office organizer with straps.
MR on the other hand is known for fit and ergonomics.
So it depends on what you’re using it for. Orginazation, the 5.11. Anything involving hiking or being outdoors, the MR hands down.
El-KamoteGoing to have to disagree with the previous opinion, though this is an old post. I have the rush 24 and 72, and the 72 is my military assault pack. I don’t use it for all the frilly office organizer stuff, I literally load it with military gear and carry it around. It’s not for everyone, but it’s definitely as comfortable as my MR 3 Day assault, and I wasn’t impressed with the quality of the most recent generation of MR pack quality (I’ve had an older 3 day assault in the past and it was far more durably made). I’ve had the rush 72 for 5-6 years now, and routinelyload it to over 4 pounds. Can’t recommend them enough.
