I received my gloves today, after they travelled a very long distance to Chile. I'm really happy with the NapoModern gloves. The only thing I didn't like, but just a bit, is that even though I chose size S, the glove fingers are still long for my hand (about 1 to 2 cm from my fingertips). Everything else fits snuggly and looks awesome. Thanks.

My gloves arrived today and I've unfortunately already run into a pretty big issue. I got the "Modern" and after wearing them around the house for about the last 1 hour, one of the wrist straps is tearing off, near the seam (see pic). What's especially weird here is that it's not even that the stitching is popping out - the leather itself is actually torn. This wasn't the case when I first put them on, and I've been pretty gentle with them.

I had the straps on the tighter snap because it was more comfortable and my wrists are not abnormally large. I do find the gloves are sized too snug in general, which was disappointing because my hands measure out at exactly the dimensions Napo indicated for size "Large". Somewhere else in the discussion they gave around-hand and finger-length dimensions, and I measured myself carefully before ordering. I was hoping that this snuggness (mostly present in the length of the fingers) would form to my hand with a little wear, but now it seems exactly the opposite is more likely.
On the plus side, the leather is very soft (perhaps related?) and the touch sensitivity is very good. I really like the look and design, which is why it's such a shame to be running into problems this early.
So Napo/Massdrop, if you're reading this: is this discussion the best way to get in touch with you?
it was hard for us to know how tight the strap has been on your wrist, so judging by the damage (which has never happened before), we assumed that it was very tight and it might have been the reason of the damage. We are sorry if we made a wrong assumption based on your message. Of course the strap is designed to use both of the available positions. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and as stated earlier - we stand behind our products and offer you either an exchange for a new pair of napoMODERN or a full refund. Once again sorry for the inconvenience.

Received my gloves yesterday. My car has a wood steering wheel and I wanted winter driving gloves to avoid the hassle of changing summer driving gloves to regular street gloves every time I exit the car. I specifically chose NapoSPORT over others since they looked slimmer in the pictures and, indeed they are very slim and fit like a glove, literally. I'm in between sizes S/M and got S since I like my driving gloves tight. Fit perfect! Touch screen function works great, very precise on all fingers even on the fingertip edges. Despite the name 'SPORT' they are elegant and look great with formal jacket or a wool coat. What I did not like. They smell weird. Really, the leather smells like some strong chemical... not unlike my NapoDRIVE summer gloves that have a pleasant real leather smell. The packaging is also sucks. Unlike my summer Napo that came in the nice reusable gift box with clear sliding cover these came bulk packaged in a cellophane bag and Massdrop shoved them in soft envelop for shipping. Luckily they came undamaged. If they were came in the gift box I'd probably buy a pair for a friend. Definitely would not buy bulk packaged women's gloves as gift for girl. We will see how they hold up in everyday driving.
brainwavethanks for your opinion! We are glad you are satisfied with the product. The smell should volatilize soon, please don't hesitate to contact us in case it doesn't. We have decided to change the packaging since we had negative feedback about sending a box for each pair of gloves - most of our customers just didn't reuse it, so having a packaging with every single pair was connected with producing unnecessary garbage. We have decided to introduce an elegant magent box as gift packaging that will be available anytime soon for the customers that decide to buy our products for gifts. I hope you understand why we made this change, the environment definitely does :)

The Napo Wool are way more black and way less blue than I thought but these are well-fitting, warm, comfortable, transition smoothly for driving, and are precise/direct for use on a touch screen. I am happy with my purchase.

Besides the closure and look, what is the difference between the options?
Chairman_WangThere is a difference in design of the styles - leather and lining are the same in all styles.

My hand size measures pretty closely to a size M, but I do really like my leather gloves to be tight, and since they will also stretch over time, would getting a small be a good idea?
justin.sarwerIf your hand size measures close to M - S might be to small. If it would be between both sizes, S would probably fit well. We would recommend size M.
