These photos, or "renders", give the impression that these are not transparent, but photos online show that they are. Isn't that kind of misleading?

OuttyninjaThey are only transparent when there is like coming in from behind the goggles, which doesn't happen when you are wearing them.

OuttyninjaIf one has actually seen a snow goggle in the last two decades, it is not misleading.

MotorradSo you're saying they have that opaque matte finish on the outside as per the picture?

OuttyninjaWhen you say "opaque" are you actually asking if the goggles' lenses are literally opaque? That would defeat the entire purpose. I think you're right that the lenses are 'shopped in, but now that you have seen photos, I guess you'e safe from being misled.

dogface_jimI guess it's supposed to show that they are reflective, but it looks more like they have a matte finish.. which would be awesome.

OuttyninjaOh, true. It does kinda look that way. I'm not aware of any optical thing that has a matte finish though. I think it's fundamentally incompatible with the concept of a lens.

OuttyninjaWhy would anyone order from a company that cant just take photos instead of badly photoshopping colours?

OuttyninjaI think I discovered an answer. A purchaser on eBay said his glasses came with two lenses, one that is light and it was see through not mirror reflective, and the other he said was dark. It appears there is no time left to find out before this drop ends.
