It would be nice if we could get official confirmation that this provides output via the USB C jack using the USB Power Delivery standard. The most encouraging comment on this that I've seen so far is from J.Heck, indicating that his Pixel 2 XL shows "charging rapidly" when connected to this battery.
For those who didn't see the USB C port putting power OUT, the USB C power delivery standard allows two way communication -- power, data, video, etc., over the same connection. Since Power can flow in either direction, there's some internal logic that determines which way it will flow at any given time. You may experience this when plugging a phone like the Pixel 2, or a laptop with a USB C connection, into a portable battery like this. For ex: I've connected my laptop to a similar battery, and at first, my battery started to treat the laptop as the power source -- and the battery started leeching power from the laptop. As I recall, on devices like this (see the RAVPower 26800 for ex -- it works this way), if you hold the power button down for 5 seconds, it will reverse the flow of power.
I don't know if the product in this drop works the same way, but I'm guessing it will. For anyone who has tried it, and is NOT getting power OUT of the USB C port, I'd suggesting giving this a try.
BTW: another battery I got a year ago -- an older RAVPower RP-PB043 (20100 mAh) only puts out 5v 3A max via USB C, but it apparently adheres to the USB Power Delivery standard, and will trigger my Pixel 2 XL into "charging rapidly" mode, and it works quite well. That same battery will also support QC 3.0 and 2.0, as will as output 2.4A via iSmart protocol. Finally -- although RAVPower doesn't document the battery as doing so, it can be charged via the USB C port, as well as via QC 3.0 standard via a micro USB port. If this Naztech product can do the same, that would be sweet for those of us with both USB C and QC 3.0 devices (otherwise I can heartily suggest the RAVpower battery).
