I am constantly traveling and always carrying 2 laptops (work, and personal) was wondering if you can store 2 laptops in the backpack comfortably or will it be to tight? thanks
Kika
It will fit 2 17" laptops comfortably. The first laptop can be placed in a dedicated laptop sleeve built-in the 2nd laptop can be placed in the same compartment section. I'd recommend putting that one in a separate neoprene sleeve for added protection.

any way you can ship internationally? (didn't see it's US only the first time)
Did anyone's drop get shipped today? I got a shipping notification and the tracking shows it was shipped 12/19 and delivered on 12/21.... wtf! Already emailed support, but was just curious if any others had this too.

I was also on this last drop that ended mid-Dec, with an expected ship date in early Jan 2019. To my surprise I received the package a day before Christmas, before any shipping notification or tracking was even generated on MassDrop. Pleasant surprise. Hope you've gotten it all worked out on your end and Happy New Year!

To be clear, the AC battery does not have PD on the USB C port? Also, the specs list that it fits "17 inch" laptops. Is this including the more common 17.3 inch form factor? For instance, should I expect this to fit a ZBook 17 or other common "17" inch workstations?
Just got mine today. Seems decent quality. Time will tell. My Swiss Gear lasted me nearly 4 years. I am trying to register on the site per the included "Register now" card, but it's requiring an Amazon order ID to even register. Is there a registration for Massdrop participants? On a side note, about shipping, the box was nearly destroyed, and the power bank's box was ripped in half. Had I paid for shipping, I would be disappointed with the shipper.

LOL. While I do work for AKRacing now. I was the Senior Buying Manager for Tech at Massdrop for almost 4 years. So, I am still hanging around the community just helping out. In fact you can still find my profile listed here.... https://www.massdrop.com/talk/592/massdrop-profile-meet-brian-hutchins As far as getting an AKRacing chair is concerned look no further than Massdrop. They list all the products we offer and at the best prices you can find anywhere.

DetroitCW - I would like to thank Brian for bringing this to my attention! I just sent a message to the VP at Naztech to look into your problem. He should be getting to you soon. Have a great holiday! Steve
How does the usb on the backpack work? Is it a seperate power bank or do you need to use the one included? I saw the picture with a phone plugged in, and just wanted to know

You will see that internally there is a wiring harness that connects to an external USB type "A" connector. The Powerback sits in a pocket. I hope this answers your question.
I purchased the higher capacity model supposedly able to charge a laptop, but when the laptop is powered off and plugged in and everything is hooked up appropriately, the battery flips off and on and off and on as if in a re-boot loop.
Does the backpack come with the wall adaptor to charge the battery bank or is that only sold separately?

Thanks for the reply! I was wanting the battery bank but this seems like an even greater value.
Can't afford
I purchased this book bag with the specific intention of being able to recharge my laptop at least once if I needed to,... mostly for my iPad, phones , Switch...etc. It seemed to do the trick for the last two weeks but just today when I tried to charge my laptop using that same power bank because I needed to drain it since it had been around half full most of the week ( and BTW, this was being charged by itself, no phones or anything else and it is the big one that you have to flip a switch to use the AC outlet - AKA the one that’s meant to charge a laptop, when I plug it in it starts to act like it’s gonna charge and then all the on it flips off at flips on) it flips off. Has anybody else experienced any sort of issues or failures wthese power banks and if so what Do you recommend I do? I went on the company’s website and they don’t have backpacks there at all

The battery bank has a limited wattage output and has a sort of auto turn off to avoid short circuiting (if I remember correctly) or overheating; this has been the same for me for my laptop which needs a 180W power adapter to charge. There's this whine that comes out of it whenever I try charging my laptop and I can only get it to charge whenever I put my laptop to sleep. I'm not putting the blame on the battery bank for my laptop, but try putting your electronics to sleep or have them turned off if the voltage is high.

When you are charging the Volt up. Make sure the AC switch is off and when not in use keep it off as well. Only turn the switch on when you are charging your laptop.

Damn shame cannot be ship to Australia :( this is much useful for my travel soon!
I have this bag and have traveled to Hong Kong many times …. so easy due to the organization of the bag layout.
When transiting in China, you're required to remove all portable batteries from your bag, are the powerbanks easy to detach from the bag to avoid any hassle in the security line?

Wow, pretty thorough checkpoint.
Revel
yes very easy.
This item cannot be shipped to Canada =(
Just got my SmartPack today. The reason I got it was so that I could have a backpack that had the laptop compartment seperated and placed away from the main compartment because I think it was the reason why my past laptops were having problems while carrying lots of books; plus having the powerbank made it where I didn't have to worry about my laptop dying on me during class. The only thing I was worried about was the main compartment not being big enough and since there are rarely any images or videos of this thing online, all I know is that it can fit a camera bag. As you can see below, I was able to fit 2 small books, 1 study Bible, 1 textbook, and 2 one-and-a-half inch binders without it putting strain on the Volt powerbank or my 15.6" MSI Stealth Thin. The only problem from this is that you can see the front of the backpack bulging out from it, so I wouldn't recommend putting anything fragile there if you are going to stuff it.

I feel you.
Should I call an ambulance?
I still had a functioning backpack, but I needed a portable power bank. The power bank that can re-charge the laptop as what sold me, a backpack that took advantage of it is just a bonus.
What was the price of this drop? I missed it

$194

It's back!
Does it have space to fit Surface Book 2 and few notebook?
LiveTuneR
From B.Hutchs answer, probably, he said it could fit 2-3 textbooks, and 2 textbooks + the surface fits That description
The Naztech power bank alone costs 120$, isn't this a good deal?
Doges
This is a great deal. Naztech offered us very special pricing to support our back to school campaign. You wont see this price again.
Is there enough space inside to put some books while attending college?
Nicu24
Yes. Depending on the sizes you could fit 2-3 books inside.
I kinda want to get in on this drop, but can't find a single review of this bag anywhere.

It does not come with the Solar Charger. In fact its not available right now even directly through Naztech as there is a QC issue on the Solar Panel and the new production run is about 10-12 weeks out.
It says you work for Naztach, which makes your statementa very suspect to say the least.
I'm sure the TSA guy who runs the Xray machine has seen lots of backpacks full of wires and black blocks, but I wouldn't want to meet the one who hasn't.
