I've not used Studio E backing fabric before. Can anyone tell me what kind of hand it has? How soft is it, as a cotton, for a quilt back?

This backing fabric is quilting-weight cotton and has a very nice soft drape without being too heavy.
The fabric will become softer after you wash it like with all quilting-weight cotton.
