Mine fits as I expected--American "regular fit." It's a lighter fabric than I expected, but I can use a warm-weather shirt so don't consider that a flaw. Sleeves are a good length.
Anyone receive their shirt and find the sizing totally off? I ordered the L based off the indications this was in their "slim" line w measurements listed here to boot and the shirt is huge. If anyone has a medium and wants to trade for a large let me know. Disappointing. Won't be ordering items like this here again.

I usually wear normal M or L slim with a 42" chest. When I last measured my shirts I know some were 22" and fit very well. I admit I can't quite remember if others were 21.5" or 22.5", but those fit well too. Not skin-tight, just form fitting.
Doesn't seem slim whatsoever according to measurements. I usually wear L slim with 43" at chest as the sweet spot. The L here has the chest at 49", which is much larger than most shirts at that size.
Reality2That's a very small garment measurement for a L - are you sure that's the garment measurement and not your chest measurement? It would be skin tight. For reference, I wear a small and my shirt chests are around 40-41".
Hi all! Thank you for your interest in our product at New England Shirt Company. We're thrilled to be working with the Massdrop community. As you've noted, we do manufacture various body silhouettes. What you've seen from Unionmade is our Extra-Trim Fit, whereas these shirts are modeled using our Trim Fit. The differences in those fits can be seen here: http://www.newenglandshirtco.com/sizingandstyle
Trim is by far our most popular fit, finding middle ground between the tapered Extra-Trim and the more full Classic Fit (which we don't offer online). Other than being slightly less tapered, Trim differs from Extra-Trim by featuring rear side pleats, allowing for extra comfort and range of shoulder motion. I personally wear both, and you'll see on our site that the same model wears both fits well.
A final example of a Trim Fit (model: 6'1, 180. wearing a Medium.):

bradherzThanks for the thorough explanation!
Also, as a general note: we can certainly offer the extra-trim in future drops as well. This drop will be for the trim fit only, though.
