Nice!!! Does it still support hardware Dvorak?
equalunique
I believe it does via dip switches.

Solid keyboard. I've had it for about half a year now. It is very solid. There are some things to get used to when using this keyboard. Since its 60%, you have to use the FN key A LOT. But after I would say a month, you can use it really fluidly.
All around it's a very solid and well built board. I got it with Cherry MX Browns and they feel great. The case is plastic but it definitely doesn't feel "cheap." Takes a little getting used to having the arrow keys on the WASD keys but so far i'm loving it.
I like this little kb. Solid, but not too heavy. Mines has mx browns, and is used whenever I'm traveling. It's my only KB without backlighting. I'll probably upgrade to one with it next time. Besides not having backlit keys, no complaints.
Really would have liked to get this board, but I joined the ALT drop a couple months ago and I'm way too excited for that keyboard.
Customer service of Massdrop is really bad. I am from India. I am not able to contact Massdrop customer support nor DHL delivery support to get the update on the product sent. Poor service and frustrating experience. Seriously do not buy the product from Massdrop, if you are from India.

Hi I am from Mumbai. Have been thinking whether to order anything from here, but sceptical considering the customs duty pain. I ended up getting someone bring a Pok3r along. Would like to connect with you regarding our mutual interest of Mechanical Keyboards.
Please do not buy this product, if you are from India. There is no proper update once the product is shipped. There is no update from either the Massdrop or mail service about the order. Its been more than 10days, I have been waiting for the product to arrive. It is very disappointing. I have written multiple mails and no response from Massdrop or mail service.
Is this version like past Pok3rs which people have modded to add LEDs? I think it would be cool to add white backlighting to it.

I believe it still supports led modding
I have the old Poker 2 and I'm not sure where some of my original keycaps went. Would there be any way to get replacements?
Very excited to get this board. Only keebs I own now are cheap amazon starters. I noticed that it doesn't ship till July... This is my first time using massdrop so I was wondering if that's a normal wait period.

Hmmm I didn't. I'm in US and got the brown switches. Maybe that is the difference?
BrandorClegane
Im in Chicago and got Red. weird... well I hope you get yours soon!
I want to this keyboard with silent switch.
Why is the white version of this keyboard not available in this drop?????
theMidd
im selling my white one with like no use on it if you're interested
theMidd
I too have a White with Browns if your interested, used for all of 15 minutes, I didnt realize this drop was going to come, I'd rather have Black with browns.
what is the function of the ms function keys?
bionku
To delay a time between two keypresses, for example if i want to create a function to open a program, i will first press Win + R, and then by pressing function and the delay-key, it will add a delay to the function for a few milliseconds for the run-prompt to fully open up and become responsive.
Clears when?
Clears please?
Estimated ship date - 3 1/2 months from now.....
Any suggestions for a low profile case for this keyboard? I noticed the USB-C port is on the right side and therefore many cases for 60% boards won't work.

its a pretty big deal for some. im annoyed that i have less options, but its not the end of the world. the case is pretty solid
paul.hudgins
What options do exist for it as far as cases go? I am having a hard time finding information about it in my searches.
The naming of these boards is ridiculous and confusing. I'm glad I bought my Pok3r when I did -- MX Clears, 3 programmable layers, white backlight. Bought a simple USB Mini-B to USB-C cable for my work MacBook, and some nice PBT keycaps, and I'm all set. I just with they'd figure out a better naming scheme so one can easily know "ok, this is the next version of the product and is improved for X Y Z reasons over the previous iteration"

Oh, thanks for replying and solving the confusion.
Yeah, I totally agree. iKBC has a bunch of their own products, ranging from the KD series to the MF series to the F series. However, I did hear from paul.hudgins and others that they are the same company nonetheless. My guess at it is that the iKBC is the slightly "cheaper" or more mainstream sub-brand of Vortex and their keyboards. (NOT saying that iKBC keyboards are of bad quality - they still seem of a great value). But as you said, there is very limited customizability and worse build quality on this New Poker II, so I would advise anyone to spend about 40$ more on a Poker 3 (Pok3r). I mean, you do get a much better product with the poker 3.
Woah! Another cherry board! No way! sigh
I'm looking for the same keyboard but with backlit. Any suggestions?

Thank you very much.
As a Pok3r owner, I continue to question why this is even a thing. Confusing name aside, it appears to share functional differences, such as an arguably worse fn layer layout compared to the Pok3r. Having FN layer arrow keys on WASD means any "twin stick" games (e.g. Binding of Isaac, Hammerwatch) that need wasd and arrows at the same can't be played easily. I am surprised and happy to see this has USB C. Are we going to see the Pok3r come back with USB C at some point, or was the Pok3r just unofficial/abandoned or something?

Oh really? That is why some people ask why new poker 2 is impossible to program the default layer! that's cool... I regret my purchase...
Bmanner
With the Pok3r you also cannot program the default layer which is layer 1, but layers 2, 3, and 4 can be edited to anything you can imagine.
The manufacturers website is selling this for the drop price. https://www.ikbckeyboard.com/product-page/new-poker-ii-black
Does anyone know if the switch top can be removed in this case? Thinking of changing springs for the switches...
Sylvestyeo
it cannot, very few keyboard plates support this
Dip switches 3 and 4 do not work on my keyboard, tried 3 different firmware versions. Disappointed by this drop overall.
marocaou
Can't you exchange it to new one? By contacting manufacturer. And of course you know the exact way to move fn/pn position, right?
Bmanner
Yeah, I spent hours on it and read several revisions of the user manual, as well as online guides. Ended up getting a refund by Massdrop.
My keyboard just arrived today - extremely pleased with it! The default keys look and feel great (though I did notice a few mould seams on the rear of the keys when I pulled them off, though these aren't visible when they're fitted to the keyboard).
One small thing I was a bit disappointed with was that the USB-C to USB-C cable wasn't braided, while the USB-C to USB-A cable is.
Overall, great keyboard! Highly recommend it.

I got mine a couple days ago! There's definitely gonna be a learning curve as I try to wrap my brain around all the combined keys and multiple layers, but so far I'm loving this keyboard!

Got my shipping notification today for the latest drop! Excited it will arrive before Xmas

Got mine delivered today. First programmable keyboard. Trying to figure out what kind of mapping I want to do. So far I have "C" on layer 2 mapped to open command and "P" to open putty. Switched Right Alt and Fn keys. and turned arrows on at the bottom left. But i'm thinking I may move those to hjkl. Also don't forget to get the latest firmware update and READ the README
boboysdadda
that a super nice layout. Did you just follow the instructions of manual to change the Fn position? Did you upgrade the firmware?
i just happened to have gotten this keyboard not too long ago. and i really do love it. I got it with the MX Blue switches and the keyboard isn't too loud, unless you are the guy sitting right next to me at work (sorry).
that being said the 1.03.03 firmware on the keyboard allows for a very powerful macro programming that is hardware based. if you work in an area where you have to type the same command(s) over and over again, i highly recommend this. with it being a relatively new board custom bases are yet to come out, but im sure with time we will start to see them pop up.
I was able to move the arrow keys (Fn + W,A,S,D) with the new firmware (1.03.03) but unable to move the delay keys (Fn + F, G,H).
Am I doing something wrong or are they supposed to be not movable?
