There are many talks about Amazon being the better option. Remember that Amazon.com doesn't ship to Europe. And sometimes it is very hard to even find a EU store that holds the same items. And Massdrop usually does ship those to EU. This specific keyboard is not on Amazon.co.uk. Many older models are unavailable at the moment, and those that are available are often more expensive. International shipping on eBay is $36.06, which pushes the price over $135 (and I would probably pay tax for that as well, once it arrives here in Croatia). I paid $91.99 on MD (including $12 shipping) and I expect to pay ~$20 tax once it arrive at customs office.
I'm not defending MD, I'm just saying that outside of US, it is sometimes hard to find what you want and shipping is usually very high. And I usually pay tax at customs office no matter where I order from (as long as it's outside EU). If I lived in the US, I probably wouldn't use MD for this specific drop. Alas, I do not and MD is, as far as I see, currently the best option for this item if you're from Europe.

fiouchThat's fair if you're in the EU, but I'm inclined to think that's more of a happy accident than a consideration on MD's part.
I think I and a lot of others (In the US particularly) are mostly just disappointed, having bought into the drop and realizing too late that there was really no benefit to waiting almost 2 months to get our purchase delivered. Personally, being in California, I just ordered another board with my second choice of switches from the eBay store and I should have it by Monday, if not sooner. To each their own, I suppose.
