Overall impression? A reliable, solid, value buy...
Regardless of frequency with which the user imbibes the pleasure that comes with toking a pipe, the Zippo pipe-specific lighter is a fantastic option when conditions are not ideal for strike matches. Having purchased the brass finish to match various other parts of my pipe kit, this remains a reliable piece of my pipe bag for walks, hikes, and backpacking trips.

Exactly what I expected from a Zippo, although my first one for a pipe. The pipe insert seems to have trouble sometimes getting pulled through the tobacco, making the charring light more difficult sometimes.
Great looking case, though. Clean and sharp, but not too much.

So I've been dying to get the Skull-cut pipe lighter for months. It came back as a drop and I jumped in immediately. It arrived in the standard time frame (no issues/surprises).
Beautiful. Looks great, feels great.
Pipe insert also looks great and works like a charm.

I bought this lighter to use on the trail for starting fires. Figured the side-facing flame would be a bit easier to manage sometimes. I bought the Dragon design just because I like dragons and thought it looked interesting. Looks even better in person!

The brass look gets a lot of compliments. Currently using it with cigarettes, and I have the option to swap the insert with my normal zippo insert (although you can use the pipe insert like a normal zippo)
