Good one you guys for calling out products that are not good deals. I thought this one looked really sharp, and wanted to know why it was worth so much...
The answer: it isn't!
thanks fellow MD buyers. :)
i have one of these. exact same one..trust me, it's definitely not worth the $70...or $60...or heck, even $20.
might as well just print one yourself on a colour printer and stick it onto a clock. pretty sure that's what they did
Not to be Debbie Downer, but this seems to be a smartly styled mass-produced Chinese wall clock, I assume with the same "economical" AA-powered movement I'd find on any $20 national retailer sold wall clock. It does look nice, and I don't mind paying more for quality, but the Newgate line seems more than style over substance (1 year movement guarantee aside.)
