Sorry, no microSD slot = no thanks. If I need 100GB of data, and I do, then I'm gonna need access to it when I'm not on wifi.

dadcoreInteresting. What do you need the 100GB of data for?

NextbitSome people use crazy amounts of data for storage. I myself own two 200GB SanDisk MicroSD cards so I can put my stash of FLAC music on it and take as many high-resolution photos and videos as I like with my phone. Of course, I do not own an Android or iOS phone.

6EQUJ5It's a very valid point for music and video. As more people shoot 2k/4k, we'll be evaluating how we handle it. As for music, we're looking into it, but the trend is toward streaming.

NextbitIt's also a trend for physical storage to become cheaper. More and more good deals come up for microSD storage (as well as SD, Flash, HDD, SSD) now. The 32GB+100GB space sounds intriguing with the cloud access, but it hardly entices as more people begin to own microSDs that are larger in capacity than the total offered by the phone and its service, myself included, or very close to it at 128GB. (If anyone is wondering, sale prices for a Sandisk Ultra 200GB microSD card have been as low as $41 for a selected account type from a certain e-tailer, and more commonly $58-60, thus far.)
The phone initially greatly interested me given the hardware offered for the price, but I'll also be passing on this particular product due to the lack of expandable storage (same as I did with the OnePlus Three). However, I am deeply glad to see you and your product here on Massdrop. I really do hope to see future drops for your offerings, and I'd be really excited to see what release you may have next.

talmuthYes, I have a 950 XL Dual Sim to be exact. I can't play Pokémon Go or have access to all those fancy apps but I can take awesome photos and videos. Microsoft will release their anniversary Windows 10 update soon here for PC and mobile phones. Hopefully, one day they will have cross-app compatibility so we will never have to worry about which mobile phone OS we will be locked to. It's a shame that the 950 XL has all the hardware specs I want but not the access to the software library I want. But, I guess you have to pick and choose and lose/gain some features. I like that Windows 10 mobile lets me download offline maps for the areas that I don't have access to data for GPS navigation. It's useful that they let you download maps for the states you go through and don't have data. Google Maps is okay but once you lose data you can no longer browse areas of the map without data service.
I think the only phone out there right now that has just about everything I'd want is the HTC10 (wishes for Gorilla Glass 4), the OnePlus 3 has no MicroSD. I can't speak for the HTC10's camera though.

6EQUJ5There's HERE Maps for Android. It's free and I am pretty sure you are using it already on your Windows Phone. :)
