" Thank you for the feedback! But YES, as per several other discussions I have had with customers, these will be about 50% thicker than what you see in the photos listed here in the drop, and more of a 4 oz thickness than 3 oz. It's a delicate balance, because if the strap gets too thick, it just doesn't sit right on the wrist; too thin and it just plain sucks. So the 3 - 4 oz range of leather has proven to be just about perfect, bearing in mind that the natural state of leather involves slight degrees of variance throughout the hide. It's a constant battle, but that just adds to its character, right? ;)" -Nick
Mine is actually the exact thickness as shown in the pictures, don't know what happened. Ordered November 15. Really happy with the strap and it might not have fit my Szanto 1200 series watch if it had been any thicker.

The Redux is great. I ordered another in black for a Orient watch I have, but loving this one on my SRP775.

Super comfortable and easy to size. Now my only issue us deciding which watch I want to put one of his Rally Stud straps on...

Hi Nick, how long is the strap? I have 6 and a half inch wrists, so what happens with the excess strap, do you just let it sit inside of the watch? If there is too much excess strap, won't it tend to jut out at the side after a while making it all look untidy? By the way, which colour is the strap used in the photo of diver's watch on the Massdrop page?

gadgetstorm6.5 inch wrists here on Nick's Ruler strap. I have a few of his straps in different sizes (lug wise) and all are the same length IIRC, The excess is tucked into the underside of the strap/wrists and wrap to the posterior side of the wrist. I know kinda weird way of wearing it, but works. And no no issues using a keyboard and I am a chronic desk diver lol.
