The EA81 is not discontinued. It’s on the Nitecore website under the Flashlight category “search” . I believe it was released in 2015 at the same time the EA41 four AA flashlight was released. Nitecore just released the EA42 upgraded version this year. There’s no upgraded version of the EA81 as of yet.
