There is basically no warranty on these.
My nitecore NU20 headlamp was having problems. They asked me to take pictures and video, provide the invoice and serial number.
After all that run around, they told me I needed to ship it to china for repair at a cost higher than the value of the light.
Nitcore's prices are a little to premium to not have local warranty available.
hi, can someone advise me : can I use Energizer lithium battery for this headlamp?? the reason i am asking cos i need it for my 100miles race - rechargeable battery will drain off fast and i dont wish to carry additional item like battery bank with me.. hope to hear some comments from All of you.. thanks so much! :-)

Thanx, CR123A can be used, probably requires 2 in series. This will give you 7.4vdc but current limited to probably less than 1000mah. Arbitrarily 7 watt vs 12 watt if you use the CR123A vs 18650 (ohm's law Pwr=V(I)) So greatly depends on how the electronics in the headlamp regulates power to the lamp

@OldGreyWolf , wow.. thanks so much with all the info. I guess ALL of us learnt something out from here. It's a great big stuff for me learnt and to understand .. i may have to test it out in the mountain when is cold at night during my training, so that I can do a comparison and comments on it. Thank you very much @oldgreywolf & @chugger, have a great weekend ahead.. enjoy! :-)
Shipping to the US appears to be FREE. Just in case that was not clear.
I have this light - it's very powerful and well designed. Battery life is good, and it's comfortable to wear on one's head. It takes a minute to learn all the different modes and how to switch them, but it remembers your last setting, which simplifies things. Recommended.
Cost to ship from China to USA: Free.

Yes but without having fully researched I think this is highly subsidized by the Chinese Government to give preferential treatment to Chinese seller platforms such as Gearbest, AliExpress, Wish, etc. it’s a one way subsidy. I buy tons off AliExpress. Any problems I figure I will have to “eat”. Sellers don’t understand we can’t ship back at anything approaching reasonable. I received defective headphones once. My seller credited my about 90% of the price to buy again. http://www.ems.com.cn/mainservice/ems/e_guo_ji_e_you_bao.html
$35 shipping?!?! Are you nuts?!?
I see there is free shipping to the US, but how much is shipping to Canada. Is there someplace this info can be found easily?

Join the drop (takes you to a payment/shipping page) and you will see shipping prices but tax is not included afaik.
I thought this was a good deal until I saw the $25.36 shipping fee
I agree. Would've been a great deal but with that shipping I'll buy local.
$25 shipping? I just got the Timberland backpack on here and that cost $4 in shipping and is what? Like probably 10x the size and 5x the weight...

Be thankful MD didn't turn off international shipping, it's like the first drop in two years when MD does that for anything that includes Li-ion

Yeah, added fees for "hazardous shipping" (li-on) batteries would be my guess.
