I've had one of these on my keychain setup for over a year. Consistent performer, no issues with battery drain or turning on accidentally, imho the best keychain light on the market at the price. For $25, buy 4 and throw one on everything. Also handy to put on a zipper and always have access to. I've owned most Nitecore keychain lights, and this is still my number one recommendation. If you're worried about it turning on in your pocket, just don't put it in your pocket. Use a carabiner and attach it a belt loop. I will say the included mini carabiner is not great, upgrade to using aNite-Ize .5 size S-Biner and you'll have no complaints.
susa6267It's definitely not a good choice to be your main keychain, but it's perfect to add to your exist keychain setup. I've got a system that uses Nite-Ize s-biners to hold all of my keys and keychain tools separately off of a larger keyring, and that's perfect.
What really grinds my gears with this light is that turbo mode is only accessible by pressing and holding the menu button which I think is stupid.. So if you're looking for a great pocket flashlight please consider the Rovyvon A2. You can find it on Amazon for around $40 and you'll not be disappointed. 650 lumens, sturdy high quality built stainless steel body, is nearly impossible to turn on in your pocket, low battery indicator light, reversible pocket clip, smaller than your pinky and yeah its bright.. This is coming from someone whose owned several pocket flashlights. The Nitecore Tip is also a great flashlight but it's easily turned on in your pocket.
Bought this from another place than Drop, so can't add a review, but yes pocket activation with this light is a thing to be aware of. Apart from that it is a great little light and can output a lot of light when needed. A very good keychain light option.
