My Monitor arrived. Had to pay 63.21€ toll (Germany). That's a total spend of 274.82€. Exactly 8ct cheaper than the benq xl2430t if bought on prime day :D
ShehzaanUsually it depends on local and regional regulations.
I suggest you'll just Google for Import fees on Monitors and search for a Local / Gov site to give you the info you need.
It changes from place to place , even if you'll need to pay - you could be paying anywhere from %5 to %30 of the cost.
SkullbunnyThe way it works over here is that only if the electronic item is above $270, then I gotta pay 5% of the price. I think I should be good since the total cost for me was just $256 (including shipping).
ShehzaanYay! Sounds good! Am glad!
Am in a tricky situation.
Here in Israel we have this thing where , like , Under $500 you're not supposed to pay customs and import on some stuff.
But , when it comes to Monitors and TVs its tricky.
On TVs - you do pay
On PC and normal Monitors - Nope.
So IDK how they'll treat it at customs , I doubt they're super duper experts , they may just see "monitor" and be like "%20 IMPORT FEE FOR YOUUU >:D"
Yeah :/
Tho I first gotta see if they actually going to ship my monitor any time soon...~coughcough~ p_p
SkullbunnyBest of luck, bro. Mine is in transit right now so I should be receiving it by the end of this week or beginning of next. I'll keep you posted :)
