Your chances of getting fucked over or waiting 3 months for shipping are so high, don't buy unless you understand that

Llewellyn00Do you have evidence of this? Having to wait longer than expected for the shipping date is frustrating, but I'll wait an extra couple weeks to receive a monitor like this at a $90+ discount. If they plain never ship an item to you, you can go to your card issuer or financial institution for guaranteed refund. At least in the USA.

AsrahBro that's hardly a discount. At this very moment it's 10$ more on Amazon with free 2 day shipping lol. And I bet if you waited on Amazon it would hit the same price before they even hit their "estimated ship date" on massdrop. But I can see why you would justify your purchase

Llewellyn00Well, the adjustable stand model is $479. I suppose thats not the biggest deal, as i could get a good triple mount for the price difference. Unfortunately only 2 of my monitors are VESA compatible. Also, I don't shop on Amazon nearly enough to justify a subscription to prime. So, I'd get free shipping, but not 2 day. Unless they offer free 2 day for that order anyways.

AsrahThe point is its nowhere near enough discount to justify their horrendous wait on shipping, and neglect of customer service if they fuck you over

Llewellyn00They do it so much more than any other company it's a wonder they function at all

Llewellyn00Well, I personally haven't seen evidence for that, so I'll abstain from conclusion. But yeah, I could just get a mount with the money i save on the monitor. So, if they have any left when i get paid, I'll get one there.

Llewellyn00For this particular drop - the units are in stock, locked, reserved, and ready to ship once we receive the order from Massdrop.

nixeusIt would be 1 in a million if you had more stocked than exactly what was ordered in case of a few returns needed

Llewellyn00We do... also our track record with shipping out Massdrop orders is that once we receive the orders they are shipped out fairly quickly - with most customers receiving their products BEFORE the expected ship dates (depending on when the drop ends or when we receive the orders).
The main reason for this is we don't usually participate in a drop unless the items are in stock and ready to ship. But we do work with Massdrop on new product releases for pre-orders = none were delayed for very long from the expected ship dates.

nixeusThe biggest point that needs to be addressed here is that you are defending yourself for no reason, because my comments are regarding massdrop not your specific company, I will state I am in no way saying nixeus or your monitors have any fault, what I'm saying is the company your selling to (massdrop) is the issue, the people "middlemanning" your product is horrendous. Like the only parts of the process that get held up or neglected are on massdrop end, this is with every case I'm aware of.

nixeusIt's actually goes to show that a company selling their product through massdrop will address a customers issue on massdrop own review/discussion page, but massdrop most definitely would not, another example of how this company is a joke compared to any other respectable organization lol

nixeusI appreciate Nixeus' approach to customer relations. It's nice to see consideration for the people handing money to a company, for higher scope hardware.

AsrahMy thoughts exactly
Llewellyn00Actually, myself and many other Massdrop staff members are constantly in the discussions helping people out, answering questions. But you are just trying to troll drops and discourage customers from purchasing here for some reason even though you have never made a purchase on Massdrop yourself.

Tex-ArozziI can kinda see where you're coming from there. I know that sometimes, with stuff like this, users can have very similar sorts of issues. But, I haven't seen any hard evidence against Massdrop. So, I declined to agree or disagree.
And the Viotek is a VA panels. Your comparing apples to Oranges.

Uhh, the VIOTEK is 1080P/144HZ. Get that outta here at a whopping 32 inches. I have enough of an issue with 1080P at 27 inches. Those some huge pixels for sitting within 2~ feet of a monitor.

Tex-ArozziPrice is still far superior and includes great quality for the price point
JeffSchwartsI agree which is why we sell those exact Viotek monitors here on Massdrop. In fact Massdrop was the first to sell them. However, a 27" IPS 144hz running at 1440p is gaming perfection. The best of everything.

JeffSchwartsI run 1440P/144HZ and basically every game is 120-144FPS on ultra. The heck does someones PC performance have to do with how big pixels are in a 32 inch 1080P monitor? Sounds like you have no idea what youre responding to.
I sit barely 2~ feet from my monitors. At that distance, the 27 inch 1080P screen to my right has obvious quality differences. Its fine for watching YT or anime, but trying to game when distracted by how large everything is for the screen space i have is offputting.
