Noble is saying their jeans are "true-to-size" and that's accurate since they say 32" really is 32". But keep in mind you've probably bought jeans claiming to be "true-to-size" before that were actually the more common vanity sizing (32" is 34"). Booteek raw jeans producers are guilty of blurring the definition, too. Just be mindful of that.

markr04I wanted to clear up any confusion about sizing and was able to receive this information from Noble Denim:
"ex. Joe's favorite jeans from another brand are size 34 but when he measures this jean he sees that the waist actually measures a 36, therefore he orders a 36 from us.
In general, vanity sizing removes two inches from the customer's actual size (ex. Joe's actual waist is 36 inches but he buys a 34 jean from an average brand), so by being true to size our sizes seem smaller than an average brands size (Joe couldn't fit into our size 34 but would fit into our 36). So the customer who is used to vanity sizing will be sizing up one size (Joe would order a 36), but the jean itself will still be tight and allow for the stretching that happens with raw denim.
Lastly, while up to 2 inches is a normal amount for raw denim, for this particular denim we've only seen about 1 inch of stretch. "
From this information, I would go with what you order for Raw Denim Jeans and the actual size chart measurements. You can also speak to Noble directly in this thread with sizing questions!
markr04Amen. It's always a challenge getting people in the right size when every brand approaches sizing differently. We recommend you check our sizing charts on our Massdrop page and compare them to your favorite pair. Since these are raw, there will be a little stretch over time but a cool water wash and air dry will help them shrink back up if needed.
