Electro Capacitive Switches
A first for Noppoo, this keyboard utilizes an electro capacitive switch instead of standard mechanical models. The switch features a slider housed by a rubber dome over a conical, coiled spring and a printed circuit board, giving you the silent operation of rubber dome keys and the reliability and tactility of their mechanical counterparts. With only limited resistance coming from a soft tactile bump and individually weighted keys to keep a consistent feel, you’ll fall in love with typing all over again. The 35 gram switches are extremely rare and come optimized for rapid typing, while the 45 gram switches have more tactile feedback and are closer to Topre or Cherry MX switches.

Keycaps
The keyboard comes topped with PBT keycaps with laser-etched legends, but if you’d rather swap out the stock options for something with more pizazz, the switches are compatible with Cherry MX style keycaps. While this compatibility used to be a rare thing indeed, new products like this Noppoo and the tenkeyless CM Storm Novatouch are intelligently engineered to let you take advantage of the entire world of aftermarket keycaps.
Construction
Backed by an aluminum plate and a POM cross column base, the Noppoo Electro Capacitive 108-Pro features a solid structure without getting too heavy. For a final touch of flexibility, the minimal case comes with a detachable USB cable that gives you more options for setting up your battle station.
