This is kinda ridiculous, and I've purchased the Sony x Kimber Kable cable for the 1R!

Though in that case it was <$300 and has a fit and finish light-years ahead of any other headphone cable. And it's gorgeous. That's what I bought it for; can't stand the "DIY aesthetic" that so many audiophiles continue to put up with.
This Nordost cable doesn't have any of those qualities and looks like many of the cables you can get for cheap on eBay. Materials night be expensive but it doesn't have the design to match.

VangeliIn all fairness I did pay 200$ for the Sennheiser CH650 S balanced cable for my HD6XX, but I just had to have the OEM matching balanced cable.

Oh sorry, was thinking of the balanced 4.4mm cable that comes with the 660s. My bad!
