I bought these last year and I loved them. The guy that said they are like apple buds is FOS, I loved them and I own LCD-2's and the Harmony 8. The only reason I returned them was to help finance the H8 when it was first sold here on Massdrop. I'm thinking about buying these again at some point so I don't have to worry about ear wax clogging up the phones (which is a big problem with customs). Easily the best pair of ear buds I have owned.
These earphones fit great and sounded great. I highly recommend them. And if there's even an issue with these phones, you can send them back for repair and THEY PAY FOR SHIPPING. If you want a custom experience without forking out a fortune, you need to check these out.

I already have these and they're pretty good quality. The company itself is great they send me new ones everytime they break and have sent me new ones including a free color change if I just ask them too. The fitting is a little off but I just chiseled them my own a little and they fit great now.

conbon369..."everytime they break"... <-- does this happen often? I prefer getting the ones that don't break over getting the ones that break and I get a fresh new color each time.

I'd much rather have custom ear tips (like the ones for Shure?) or IEMs. Earphones have never struck me as comfortable... Besides, at this point with Flare Audio's R2 series of IEMs, they are so small and light it's easy to forget they're in your ears if not for the pretty amazing sound coming out of them.

mayorblurpsyes custom tips like the ones from Westone the UM56 would be way better than this.
This also does not appear to be from a community poll. (at least it's not called out)

I previously bought these headphones through Normal and I loved the concept, at first. Their customer service was great but the way they fit the earphones was very tedious and time consuming. In order to make these headphones, Normal asks that you download their app from whichever platform you use and follow the instructions within the app, which entail taking photos of your ears at different camera angles to give them the dimensions of your ear (using a quarter as a scale reference). BUT I had to do this process 8 TIMES before I called customer service in rage. Customer service, after opening up my photos they had on file, said that I had more than enough photos for them to work with and that I didn't need to send all of those photos like they asked (which made me mad). Nevertheless, I went through the process and received the earphones within a few weeks. Upon unboxing and trying them on, they did not fit my ear (which they claimed they would), and the headphones began to fall apart within 2 months of regular use (the mesh on the piece that covers the internal components that produce the sound fell off and the buttons started to lag). And if you care about audio quality, they are just as good (or bad, however you see it) as Apple's new earphones.
Overall not pleased with product and do not recommend these over other in-ear models

Indeed, a very interesting concept of making a custom wing/fin based on the picture of your outer ear shape. This is obviously not a CIEM with a custom shaped nozzle, just a custom shaped fin to improve the fitment. Will be interesting to hear peoples impressions about the sound, considering its premium pricing.

Curious as to how they sound like? The description doesn't say much about the sound. It's great if they fit, but if they don't sound as good as other iems around this price range, then why bother imo.

Reminds me of how much I hated the wing system on the DUNU's.... I still hate them. So much.
