Hey all! After a lot of requests to see this deskpad on Massdrop, we have finally arrived! This amazing deskpad was designed by Monkey six at the request of Kingnestea for the Camping keycap sets. This was initially the artwork for the GMK box, and we have made a few changes to get it on these deskpads. FAQ's

Does shipping really cost this amount?
Yes it does. These deskpads are around 2 pounds to ship out, so they cost quite a bit to ship. Shipping is not inflated, and is the actual costs. Actually, I just saw that we are able to get the pricing of these down pretty low on shipping because of the way the smaller mousepads are structured. So the shipping cost is actually cheaper than what it would actually be (for domestic shipping that is)!
But "x" product only cost "y" amount to ship and its just as heavy.
I can't speak for all products, but a lot of times the shipping cost is actually subsidized into the cost of the product.
Why is the shipping date so long?
After the drop ends, we place the order with the manufacturer. That can take around 1 month to make. Then the shipping. Since these are so heavy, we ship them via sea. That takes around 45 days. After that we have to clear customs. Usually this is a quick process, but sometimes there are delays.
How do you clean the deskpads?
Easiest way is to machine was on cold and gentle. Air dry.

mgsicklerHi Mike, I bought the Beige Bone Carbon and the white/cream color turned out greenish which was very different than the sample deskmat that was posted. I also saw that people who received the Space Cadet also had problems with the white. Was that issue fixed? This deskmat looks awesome but I'm very worried if the all-white deskmat doesn't come in as white.

8six753o9I actually didn't know about any issues with the Carbon deskpads (just reading about some of that now). Its been a while since I popped in on that drop page. There can always be a slight degree of color difference, but we try to make sure everything is as close as possible. With this deskpad in particular, we have actually had several mass production runs already and the result has almost perfectly matched the samples every time. In fact, the pictures Massdrop took are from production run pads.
