I see a lot of these 60% accessories, how does one know what is compatible with what? Can I assume that any open source 60% board will work?

jceaserI think the 60% form factor is mostly standardized, where most PCBs should fit most cases. This standard is sometimes referred to as "poker style," named after the wildly popular poker keyboard.
One consideration I have overlooked in the past is what cables fit which cases. Might not fit if the hole in the case is narrow or deep and your USB plug is too bulky.

jceaserThe KBP V60 will attach to 4 of the six mount points. Pok3r, GH60, GH60 Satan, Face W, and other similar PCBs will all work fine. Notably, the Poker II USB C version does not work.
