The big question is, will these have the same QC issues that the Royal Glam had... Oil would rub off, finish was rough, warped wood, etc.

I personally don't care for the keycap puller since I have the ducky pullers (metal wire with plastic handle) that are much better (I have about 3). I don't want to sound stand-offish there at all, just saying my piece.
As for NPKC not responding, I believe most of the time (as in 99%) MD would respond to these kinds of queries more since they are in charge of the drop. Majority of these suppliers really course through MD as well for any concerns since it streamlines and simplifies things for their company. Though I do wish more companies responded and focused more on a quality customer service experience over just selling.
As for the wrist rest, I'll wait for it to get to the lowest price (it is now and I'm getting one) and then probably get one! It's so cheap and I'm willing to take a chance on this for the low price!
