Very bad build quality

I've had these for a couple of months now and as far as earphones I've owned goes, I like these. I'm giving this 3 stars because I've been having a couple of issues.
-Although I charge it overnight for a full charge I feel that it doesn't hold up to what it claims. -The plastic tips don't stay in my ears, even the smaller tip, and the foam tips which I was in love with has broken into pieces which I found odd. Kinda crumbled from one day to the next and only from one ear. Other tip is still intact. -Bluetooth will get iffy when looking around, even with the slightest of head motions. Any time the received has a blocked view of the phone the connection will stutter. -The ear wings were and sometimes are a bit of an issue because it'll slide off after skateboarding and sweating a bit, it's just more annoying than an actual issue. -I do like the magnetic back of the monitors. -If you sweat a moderately - profusely then they will end up slipping out or shifting, even with the ear wings on.
If this comes back with a really really good price then it's good to ponder and really think about getting it. I do not recommend getting it at full price.

I'm having a great experience with these in-ear monitors, so much so that I've purchased a second pair to be available if these die prematurely. Used Powerbeats until the rubber controls melted and sloughed off. These NuForce sound better because they make a tight seal and keep out excess noise as I pedal the local bike path. No problems with drops from my iPhone 8 Plus. Sound quality for those I speak to on a phone call is on par with my Mazda's built-in bluetooth. These are a bit cheaper in cost than Powerbeats and I don't expect them to last the same 3 years, but tech isn't designed to last forever.

They feel a bit cheap. They are huge and the cable is stiff. But, for the price you pay you for get a decent pair of Bluetooth IEM's. Battery life is ok, the controls work great and the amount of accessories you get is impressive. If bass is what you're looking for you'll not be very impressed with these.

The bluetooth connection is just not on par. Sounds quality decent

tl;dr They are far too large for my ears and don't sit comfortably, and playback stutters when looking around.
Pros: - Really nice sound quality in low-background noise areas - Metal body for the buds themselves feels solid, high quality - Pairs quickly - Lots of different size and style tips, including stiff-center, soft-center, and foam - Magnetically snapping together is nice for keeping them from swinging around when I'm not listening to them - Carrying case is a nice addition, especially for earbuds of this price range
Cons: - They don't fit in my ears. I wouldn't say I have small ears, and have never had a problem using the medium tips included in other earbuds. Even using the smallest tips for these, I cannot get them to feel "in" - they always feel loose, and like they are about to fall out. I notice they miss the typical shape of other earbuds, especially near the tip, that makes other fits snugly in the ear canal. - Given they don't fit, it's heard to fully appreciate what I'm listening to - I can't speak to the response curve, given it's so hard to fit them in my ears to give me an opportunity to hear music properly. - Connectivity range is disappointing. With my Pixel 2 in my jacket's breast pocket, turning my head 60° to the right makes them stutter so badly that they spend more time silent than playing music. This isn't like a few seconds off, a few seconds on, though - it'll stop and start multiple times per second, every second.
I tried to like these earbuds. After spending too many months with a set of earbuds with drivers that have dropped to half-volume, I bit the bullet and bought these. All in all, I feel like they miss some key points with regard to both physical and electronic design, but deliver the sound quality advertised.

Good for Music, terrible for phone calls. About half way through every phone call I give up and switch back to holding a phone up to my ear as I have no idea what people are saying. If my phone is in my back pocket while biking sound drops, has to be in my shirt pocket. Bluetooth range seems lousy. When running I have to push them back in my ears once every two minutes and get lots of noise from movement. Fine if you sit still. Love the magnets and they look neat. Connectivity is good/easy, buttons work well. Can't seem to figure out how to activate Siri.

Sounds good when it works. Even when I'm sitting still, it drops out, and when I'm walking, I can go for 30 seconds or more with no sound because of that. I contacted MD support about it, and they directed me to NuForce support, but I've heard nothing from them. The battery life is indeed short, but that's not the deal breaker... the drops are. Using a Samsung S8, so not an old phone either- my Southwing from 10 years ago has better luck staying connected.

Sent in my RMA, and FedEx shows it delivered. Contacted support to ask about the timetable after they'd had it for a week, was asked for FedEx number and gave it and the label that they had sent me in response. Have heard nothing. Tried to contact the support person several times over the past couple of weeks, and silence.

Finally received my replacement. It's having less issues, but still performs worse when exercising (light walk) than my Southwing sa505 from 10+ years ago with my s8. Disappointed in the purchase.

Really surprised with the battery life, I spend most of my work days on the phone giving tech support so having my hands free to multitask is essential, switches devices well and connects quickly, sound quality and background noise removal tops!

Sound is very decent, a little short on lows sometimes but overall very good. The only downside is the battery life, which is about 4h, but it is not a deal-braker.

Overall great tone. A bit heavy in the ears. Length and shape does seem to cause a bit of extra wind noise when biking. Biggest issue is that they vack either APTX-HD and LDAC codec support. I suspect the headphones would really shine with today's better bluetooth codecs.

As my first pair of Bluetooth IEMs I am really enjoying the convenience of these, especially given their nice build and decent battery life. Sound cut outs can be irritating, particularly as the battery gets low. I mostly use these when I'm out and about or exercising, mostly for listening to podcasts for which I find the sound quality fine.

Overall good sound quality, works great, except they are too big in the ear, not very discreet.

I have had zero problems with these IEMs. They have been in my arsenal for 4 months now and they are perfect for working out. They drown out my surroundings so I can focus on working out.

After about 9 months of use, here's my experience:
The drivers seem to be failing. The right ear plays louder than the left ear, and it seems both do not play as loud as they used to.
The power button requires exceptional force to press. For some reason, I have to press as hard as I can just to turn these on. Coupled with the dying drivers I now have to look at the light instead of listening for the sound when they turn on, meaning I can't turn them on while they're in my ears.
Jermeh
This doesn't sound right. In theory it is almost impossible for the driver to start losing its volume. What you are experiencing is most likely caused by something blocking the driver inside. Also, you should not need to press the button so hard.
So all in all - I´d like to make this right. Could you please contact us so that we can swap your earphones to a new pair? My apologies for the trouble and inconvenience. https://www.optoma.com/us/support/contact-us/

For the price, I think these are very good. Long battery life, pretty decent sound and never had any problems connecting them w/multiple different devices. Use them mainly at the gym and they stay in decently. I do wish they fit in my small ear cannals better and they are a bit large but I’m happy w/them.

My first impression when I got the package I noticed how large they were - much bigger than I had thought they would be and wondered how they would stay In my ears.
As it transpired they didn’t stay in my ears well at all unless I painfully jammed them in. They were simply just too large and heavy to stay out and whilst I liked the quality sound it did not stay quality as when you moved the weight altered the position and this the sound. I systematically tried all the bids provided and could not get the things to fit and stay in my ears.
the lugs provided supposedly to keep the things in do not stay put and are just not man enough for the job. They keep moving and turning around as well. Very annoying.
they are very expensive for sound which is not consistent and drop out of your ears altogether periodically.
possibly the worst items I’ve bought! Not what the advertising states!

Does everything is is supposed to do. The most important downside is that it lacks some kind of surround sound suppression on the mic. I get complaints of people whom I am calling with that all the surrounding sounds are way to loud.
Verified Purchaser
Very good quality, the sound is great but alittle bit weak.
Verified Purchaser
Not very impressed. They don’t sit in my ears long enough to hear any of the music. That makes this product sucks for me.

Battery life is OK, audio quality is good, build quality is good except for the cheap plastic on the control unit (probably to reduce weight). The actual earbuds themselves are quite heavy units that have trouble staying in your ears during exercise - but I've always had trouble with in-ear headphone fit, so my partner ended up taking these and likes them a lot, thus 4 stars. I switched to larger over-ear headphones instead.

I’ve had these guys for over a year now, almost daily. They’ve held up extraordinarily well, having taken serious abuse. Battery life is excellent.

Don't sit in my ears very well.
