I hate to complain, but i have to agree that the wait is getting unreasonable. As others have pointed out, on many of the products released recently, the money saved does not outweigh the time spent waiting. In many cases the MSRPs are not reflective of the "street value" one may expect to pay on other sites including Amazon, which amounts in some cases (specifically at the moment I cite the Ety hf5 drop, for which the offer is $10 less than on Amazon) to meager savings and month + waits. In this case, over a month by time of delivery to deliver a small amount of relatively easily handled units does not add up in my mind. I believe it would benefit the staff of Massdrop to do some explaining about what has taken so long. I have some theories as to why this may be, but in the interest of not loading answers with preconceived notions I'll not state them here, and I would encourage Massdrop to reply promptly and honestly, as this is the surest way to restore trust in their customers, many of whom i think would agree with me that on the surface the business model sounds brilliant but are wondering whether the possible waits are worth it. Recall that we were, in the words of Massdrop's own representative, "Just about there!" two weeks ago.
