shane55These offer a more balanced sound (more of a linear bass response) and more treble energy. I quite enjoy them.

shane55These are using balanced armature drivers, whereas the EDC are using dynamic drivers. Usually, it seems that BA >> DD Price of BA >> price of DD That points me to expect that the $75 vs $60 pricing is appropriate.

shane55Joined. I've been burning-in the EDC for days, and it's still not to my liking... I'm hopeful this works better for me, as I already have several BA IEM's and like them all.

shane55The EDC is A LOT WARMER compared to this one. I checked the frequency response on inner fidelity site and found out that EDC is very bassy and I think you could reduce it by installing a bigger earbuds.

ChunYongGot the HEM1 yesterday. You were absolutely right. Night and day difference, no comparison. . HEM1 walks all over the EDC. Wile not the greatest IEM ever, they are more than worth what I paid here, and seriously puts the EDC to shame.

shane55i prefer edc compared to this. However hem 1 is clearer sounding , and will likely benefit a better source, while i particularly enjoy edc with low res music from streaming
