Is it normal that the bass driver in the HEM8 just stopped functioning randomly? I contacted Optoma but they won't do anything except giving me a code for a 20% off just because I didn't have my proof of purchase.Extremely disappointing. If @Jyri could help me out that'll be great.

WatchAnonOf course not normal. BA drivers in general are sensitive and could damage if the earphone is dropped, hit hard on a surface or similar. Did you try both cables? Is there any chance to find your proof of purchase? If you bought through Massdrop you should have a proof of purchase in your email.

JyriI didn't purchase it on Massdrop but I bought it in an audio store and paid full price. I didn't drop it or anything. It just one day, suddenly while listening to music in the train the bass driver in the right channel dropped out of the blue.

WatchAnonAlright, understood. Is there any way to get a receipt from the audio store? I understand your frustration but I do hope you understand that it is a normal policy for a manufacturer to verify the purchase date and reseller.

JyriMy Hem8's left side drivers are no longer working properly after 3 months of careful use and no drops spills or rough handling. How can I go about getting a replacement? I looked around on the optima support page and I cant figure out where to get it warrantied. If you could help me out it would be much appreciated. :) ps- Replying down here so this isn't the first thing people see. I love these headphones and think others shouldn't be discouraged by my faulty hardware.

JFellnyxHey! Sorry for the late reply. This is unusual. Can it be the connector or cable that is not working properly? The drivers normally won't fail all together.
