Anyone coming from 1More Triple Drivers ? I know it's a little too late to ask as i have joined the drop...lol.. its another month away from delivery. My current setup is Sony NW-A45, flac/alac files, S8 Tidal. Thinking to try more balanced IEMs as the Triple Driver seems more of V shaped and sound stage is not that great, hope i wont be disappointed as there are so many mixed reviews regarding Primo8's.

cagasYea 1more triple sounded v-shaped to me. I joined this drop too not knowing how primo8 sound lol. Mainly cos i really like the nuforce edc and wanted something better from nuforce. Had been looking at HEM 8 but didnt want to spend that much on an iem and i alr have a sony XBA300 triple BA. This should be a good deal. I know the EDC might not be the best sounding but just love the comfy level and is non fatiguing. I can wear that for long hours. Hopefully this is as non fatiguing too.

CalvHaha ..someone in the same boat. I've never tried any nuforce iems. Did try my bros westone um50 pro..those were just on another level from my 1more. I never had any iems with over/behind the ear design, eg westones,shures. Loved the comfort, just makes sense. Then i saw this drop...

cagasHaha think you will get use to over the ear style soon. My first pair of over the ear style is nuforce edc 6 months ago that i bought here in massdrop. Now im just not used to wearing earphones downwards. The EDC got me hooked to audio and after that i went to get myself the momentum wireless, akg n60nc, ie80, xba300, fiio fh1.. some others and now this primo 8.. lol.. got to stop this craze...will start and end at nuforce lol..

cagasI had a pair of 1More triple drivers. Forgot them on a plane but they were great phones. I found them comparable to RHA20 iems in quality but they sound quite different. The RHAs reach down a little deeper, are pretty punchy and have very detailed sound at moderate volume, the 1Mores sound better loud, are smoother at the top with less fatigue, but not as detailed. I like my Westone W3s more than either for clarity. My Primo8s should be here Friday so I’ll let you know What I think In comparison to what I remember for the trip

cagasSo they finally showed up (2-1/2 weeks). compared to the 1More triple drivers: The 1Mores are a lot more punchier in the base as Expected with dynamic drivers. Base not as tight as the NuForce, but a lot more of it. The 1Mores are much more V shaped in sound profile. The Nuforce has I think a nicer mid range with better clarity and a bit more detail, but not what I would call a mind blowing difference And the treble is really laid back. They kind of sound like a darker toned version of my Westone W3s, but not quite as clear. Not surprising given the Westone price. For what I paid, I think they’re great, but not competitive with what you can get in the $300 range. Frankly, I dont really consider them an improvement over the very good 1Mores

Will_FJust dropping in to say your review is appreciated. there is just too many "this is so GOOD or 10 times Better" without a really simple reason.
keep it up mate. If you happen to own the Pinnacle P1 which has the same sound signature to these (not v-shape and more precise) i'd be keen to know your thoughts how the 2 compare.
