So far I am liking it very much. Coming from IE80 and Xiaomi hybrid, I did some expectaion on the highs and that I would lose a lot on the bass but my ears are being trained on more brighter IEMs and headphones that now I find this Primo8 being my favorite. I like it as much as my DT880. When using IEM, there are lots to lose compared to using a full sized headphones. Having said that, I don't feel like I am losing much. I started to appreciate bright IEMs and headphones so I kind of like how Primo8 sound. And the veil that I had with IE80 is not there so I feel more engaged. The sound stage is really shocking. I will try comparing it with Monk once I get silicone tips for monks(because I felt monk had big soundstage too but could not properly listen to it due to bad fitting and pain from hard surface). Lacking lows is not much of a problem. I thought bass focused IEMs and headphones were fun but this(even slightly lacking bass) sounds very engaging and more lively. I didn't even try to EQ the bass because of that reason. The highs are not piercing anymore. I do not think it got tamed further. I think there was sslight change 8n the first few hours of burn-in but not after that. Maybe my ears are getting better trained to appreciate the highs better now. I hope you guys are enjoying it. It is certainly a good money spent in my case.

ridhuankimThese have arrived, and have exceeded my expectations.
I have the Hifiman re-400 and the Trinity Audio Delta (version 1), as well as the Beyerdynamic DX 160 iE and the Shure SE 215.
I didn't expect these to be significantly better than the first two, but they are. They give you a stronger sense of immersion in the music. More detail. Instrument separation is better, the timbre of instruments seems more real. As stated by reviewers, they are mid-centric. Vocals sound (even) more life-like than on the re-400. Treble is never harsh. The bass does not feel lacking for most genres (maybe just a bit for Hip hop).
And all of this just on an LG G2 phone playing Tidal (lossless and MP3). I'm sure they will sound even better with a better DAC/amp.
Much better than the $100 IEMs I have listened to.
